Dr. Juan M. Ruiz-Unger

For over four decades, Dr. Ruiz-Unger has been delivering compassionate, evidence-based pediatric primary care to multiple generations of families in the Miami community. Taking the time to listen and learn about every patient’s and parent’s concerns, Dr. Ruiz-Unger builds trust and engages families to partner in care, helping kids achieve their healthiest outcomes. Accessibility to care is always top of mind, no matter the nature of the visit, check-ups, chronic disease management, families with special needs, or even the occasional home visit. He is proud to support community families with the best care possible and continue his legacy of care through the mentorship of medical students.

Outside of the office, you might find him playing a tune on the piano or guitar, or reading a good book – he is especially interested in biblical archeology.
