Taryn Hamer, APRN
Taryn was born and raised in Nebraska; it’s where she set out on the educational path towards a fulfilling career in pediatric care before moving to Florida.
She loves getting to know children and their families and seeing them regularly as they grow. She’s passionate about helping children and parents learn more about overall health and the human body, and working together to keep children as healthy and safe as possible.
Taryn earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in pediatric acute and primary care, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and also holds a B.S. in Neuroscience. She has a background in pediatric neurology – headaches and migraines in children are among her favorite things to treat.
Outside of work, she is an avid runner and loves competing in races; she was also a Division I collegiate athlete on the University of Nebraska-Omaha women’s track and field team. She enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and dogs. Her favorite place to vacation is Cape Cod, and she’s a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan.
