Jose Guethon MD, MBA, CDIP

With over 30 years of experience in healthcare management, Dr. Guethon brings a depth of knowledge to Pediatrica. His work has primarily focused on supporting primary care physicians and practices in improving the quality and coordination of care, as well as enhancing access to care.  These tenets are the very foundations of the enhanced value-based care model, Next Generation Care^SM, Pediatrica is bringing to life. Under Dr. Guethon’s leadership and with his expertise, care for the next generation is on the right track.

With a hands-on approach, Dr. Guethon collaborates with a variety of providers and staff, playing a vital role in supporting Pediatrica’s rapid growth, facilitating acquisition integration, and guiding our investment in Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) transformations. Holding both an MD and MBA, he is uniquely positioned to do this work, backed by his years of experience in corporate medical management for public and private healthcare organizations, large and small. 

He serves as an advisor to several innovative healthcare companies and is the CEO of Covenant Consulting, based in Boynton Beach, Florida, where he resides with his wife of 39 years. Dr. Guethon grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and has lived in various metropolitan cities across the state. When not hard at work, you can find him cheering on one of his many favourite Florida sports clubs, including Inter Miami CF, Tampa Bay Bucs, the Florida Panthers, and the Florida Marlins.
