Jaehee has spent over a decade working in a hospital setting, where she saw firsthand how resilient children are. That resilience is what keeps her inspired to work in pediatrics every day.
Jaehee came to the United States at the age of 14. On her path to make Texas home, she’s lived in and explored South Korea, Singapore, Minnesota, and North Carolina. She speaks English and conversational Korean.
Jaehee and her husband reconnected after losing touch for 10 years, and they were engaged and married within a year. They have two little ones, and they love spending time reading books together, taking early evening walks, and having dance and karaoke parties. She used to be a long-distance runner and hot yoga fanatic, but these days her favorite workouts involve chasing toddlers. When she’s not with her kids, she enjoys Tex-Mex and good Korean food.
Deyanira has spent nearly 20 years in the medical field, most of them in pediatrics, and is a certified medical assistant and certified phlebotomist. Along the way, she has built a strong foundation in patient care, office operations, and teamwork, and she has learned how much a positive experience matters to patients and their families.
Her love for pediatrics is personal. Deyanira was born with a heart condition that required open-heart surgery when she was 13, so doctors’ offices and hospitals were a big part of her childhood. As a patient she saw how much compassionate, caring professionals can change a person’s life. She knows how important it is for kids and their parents to feel safe, supported, and cared for, and that’s what she works to provide every day.
Deyanira has lived in West Palm Beach, Miami, and Fort Myers. She speaks English and Spanish, which helps her connect with families from different backgrounds.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and watching the sunrise at the beach. She also has a bit of a green thumb. Somehow, everything she plants seems to grow, and she likes to think the same is true for people and teams: with a little care and patience, good things flourish.
Dr. Seat earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Florida and her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine in Clearwater. She completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Illinois Chicago.
Her love of pediatrics began on a high school medical mission trip to Zambia, where she saw the special bond between mothers and babies. She realized how much pediatricians can shape the next generation’s path to healthy adulthood, and she has carried that purpose into her practice ever since.
A Sarasota native, Dr. Seat spent three years in Chicago, where she enjoyed city life and met her husband. Outside of work, she loves the beach, rollerblading, traveling, enjoying Thai food, and spending her free time with her golden retriever, Ralph.

Outside the office, Autum cherishes time with her spouse, their girls, and their two dogs. She’s also active in her local church community, finding fulfillment in volunteering and giving back whenever she can. Her heart has always been drawn to children, which is what makes her work in pediatrics so meaningful to her. She loves getting to know each patient and their family, and takes pride in making every visit feel comfortable, welcoming, and positive.
